This console was used to navigate three ship models as part of a public demonstration led by the Dept. of Transport (DOT) during Expo '67, in Montreal. "Little Sea" was one of the many attractions/demonstrations located at the Canadian pavilion. Specifically, this console was used to control ship models 1968.0863, 1968.0864 and 1968.0865. - Function

- Top front panel of unit houses four identical ammeters. Markings found on amp scales read: "D-C/MILLIAMPERES/GENERAL [logo] ELECTRIC/MADE IN CANADA/TYPE DW-9V/CAT.53-100C530FAFA". Console functions for ice breaker, bulk carrier, buoy tender, propeller pitch, and crane etched in metal panel. Function controls (buttons and switches) for ice breaker are labelled as follows: above ammeter "ICE BREAKER"; below ammeter "RUDDER/PORT/STB'D", "AMIDSHIPS", "ASTERN", "STOP", "AHEAD", "DECREASE", "INCREASE", and "WHISTLE". Function controls (buttons and switches) for bulk carrier are labelled as follows: above ammeter "BULK CARRIER"; below ammeter "RUDDER/PORT/STB'D", "AMIDSHIPS", "ASTERN", "STOP", and "AHEAD". Function controls (buttons and switches) for buoy tender are labelled as follows: above ammeter "BUOY TENDER"; below ammeter "RUDDER/PORT/STB'D", "AMIDSHIPS", "ASTERN", "STOP", and "AHEAD". Etched into centre panel, functions and switches are labelled as follows: "TRANSMITTER POWER SUPPLIES"; above left indicator light "ICE BREAKER"; below left indicator light "ON/OFF" (switch); above centre indicator light "BULK CARRIER"; below centre indicator light "ON/OFF" (switch); above right indicator light "BUOY TENDER"; below right indicator light "ON/OFF" (switch). Etched in bottom panel, functions and switches are labelled as follows: "RUDDER POSITION MONITOR"; below left indicator light "ON/OFF" (switch).
