THIS SET OF SILVERWARE CAME FROM THE PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND SS, WHICH WAS A RAIL CAR FERRY OPERATED BY THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT RAILWAYS BETWEEN CAPE TORMENTINE, N.B. & CARLETON POINT, P.E.I. FROM 1915 UNTIL TAKEN OVER BY THE CNR IN 1935.

Markings
"C.G.R" incised on one side of bowl body. "REED & BARTON/ SILVER SOLDERED/ 478 S" stamped into underside of base.
Missing
Sugar bowl is complete in itself. However, a lid would have been used with the bowl.
Finish
Bright silver metal finish.
Decoration
Raised border decorates lower edge of bowl. Handles (2) have pointed tops.
