This Philips Gauge was built in Rochester, N-Y by Distillation Products Industries, a Division of Eastman Kodak Co. Because Eastman Kodak sold DPI to Consolidated Electrodynamics Corporation of Pasadena and became Consolidated Vacuum Corporation operating in Rochester, N-Y, artefact 1978-0926 (made by Distillation Products Industries, a division of EastmanKodak Company) is older than artefact 1978-927 (made by Consolidated VacuumCorporation, a subsidiary of Consolidated Engineering Corporation of Pasadena California).
