For over a century (early 1800s-c. late 1920s), Roxton Pond craftsmen were producing large quantities of quality hand tools. [Supp. Info. 2004.1605, Ref. 5] Sem Dalpe made planes c. 1860 - 1895 in Roxton Pond, PQ. Upon his death, his plane factory and other holdings were sold to Arthur Monty.
