AN EARLY MODEL OF ONE OF THE FIRST PRECISION ELECTRIC SAWS DESIGNED FOR THE PRINTING TRADES. IT WAS CLAIMED TO HAVE BEEN THE ONLY COMBINATION SAW/TRIMMER IN 1912 & INCORPORATED A MICROMETER GAUGE TO ACCURATELY MEASURE CUTS TO POINTS & FRACTIONS. SAWS OF THIS TYPE APPEAR TO HAVE DEVELOPED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE POPULARITY OF SLUG CASTING MACHINES & PHOTOENGRAVING WITH WHICH THEY WERE USED EXTENSIVELY. - Area Notes
