TO SEPARATE CREAM FROM MILK BY APPLICATION OF A CENTRIFUGAL SYSTEM - Technical

This is an example of a centrifugal cream separator that had baffles in its bowl. The baffles diverted and elongagted the paths of the skim milk and cream through the bowl, resulting in better separation. A well-adjusted baffle bowl separator would leave approximately .1% fat in the skim milk. - Area Notes
