Technical: THE GEIGER PROBE DETECTS BETA AND GAMMA PARTICLES; AND THE SCINTILLATION PROBE DETECTS ALPHA PARTICLES. THE TWO PROBES FEED INTO THE COUNTING RATE METER WHICH HAS FIVE RANGES OF COUNTING RATES UP TO 20,000 PER MINUTE.
