TAMBLYN, Limited' and extensive directions for use printed on label./'25' handwritten in black grease pencil on label./ COMPLETE TEXT ON LABEL APPEARS AS FOLLOWS: ‘T/ TAMBLYN QUALITY/ POWDERED BORAX/ DIRECTIONS/ FOR THE LAUNDRY/ In the Laundry - In five gallons/ of water dissolve a teaspoonful/ of Borax and two ounces of soap/ for White Cotton or Linen Goods./ In Washing Flannels it will be found/ invaluable and less than half the quan-/ tity of Soap will be required. For colored/ Flannels, Cashmeres and colored Woollen/ Goods generally use cold water./ For Washing Laces - Into one quart of warm/ water dissolve one teaspoonful of Borax, and let them soak over night then wash with a little soap/ For Giving a Fine Gloss to Linen - Dissolve one tea-/ spoonful in one pint of boiling starch./ CONTENTS 16 OUNCES WHEN PACKED/ Packaged in the Toronto Laboratory of/ G. TAMBLYN, Limited' on front./ ‘T/ TAMBLYN QUALITY/ POWDERED BORAX/ DIRECTIONS/ For the Bath - A small quantity/ will soften the water and add to/ its cleansing and invigorating/ qualitites./ For Cleaning Paint - Use a tablespoon-/ ful in one pail of soft water. It will save/ labor and not injure the paint./ For Cleaning the Hair - Dissolve one teaspoonful/ in half a pint of boiling water. When cold rub until/ a good lather is produced then wash with cold/ water.
