Markings: The front markings are those written on the drawing itself. The back markings have been taken from labels attached to the brown paper back of the framed drawing. This is probably a transcript of original writing on the back of the drawing. Almost all of these framed drawings also have another label affixed to the back which reads: ‘THE T. EATON CO./ *HOUSE FURNISHINGS LIMITED/ TORONTO CANADA/ PICTURE/ FRAMING/ 33307'. Most also have a handwritten measurement on the front or the back.// [BACK]: ‘CORNER POSTS OF WIRE FENCE, BRACED BY INCLINED SQUARED/ RAILS SET INTO THE POSTS AT THEIR BASES AND NEAR THEIR TOPS./ THE RAILS ARE SECURED BY THICK WIRE LOOPED AROUND THEM/ MIDWAY OF THEIR LENGTH AND AROUND THE UPPER PART OF THE/ POSTS.
