EXAMPLE OF DENTAL ARTICULATOR OF EUROPEAN MFR., CAPABLE OF A WIDE RANGE OF MOVEMENTS, ADJUSTMENTS, ETC. EARLIEST ARTICULATORS WERE CALLED PLANE LINE OR SLAB ARTICULATORS. THE DENTIST WOULD PLACE DENTAL CASTS TOGETHER, SETTLE THEM INTOSOFT PLASTER & ALLOW IT TO HARDEN, PRODUCING A WORKING MATRIX.
