He destroyed three Albatros/biplanes - bringing his total kills to 47 in less than 3 months of combat flying on the Western/Front. This exploit won Billy Bishop the Victoria Cross. The fearless Canadian fought 170/air battles and scored 72 victories./C 1959 LEACH CORPORATION LITHO IN U.S.A."
