AN EXPERIMENTAL DEVICE, PRESUMABLY BUILT TO EXPLORE ROTARY FIELD DESIGN. CONTAINS 16 INDIVIDUAL LOW IMPEDENCE STATORS THAT COULD BE STRAPPED FOR SERIES OR PARALLEL OPERATION. SINCE THE ROTARY FIELD HAS 8 SEPARATE POLE PIECES, ADJACENT STATOR COILS WOULD HAVE CURRENT FLOWING 180-DEGREES OUT OF PHASE. STRAPPING COULD PROVIDE 2 PHASE HIGH VOLTAGE OR LOW VOLTAGE CIRCUITS OR SEPARATE SINGLE PHASE CIRCUITS. - Area Notes
