WHEN FIRST BUILT, THE CONDENSOR FOR A SINGLE-PHASE CAPACITOR MOTOR WAS AS BIG AS THE MOTOR. AFTER THESE MOTORS WERE COMMERCIALLY REJUVENATED IN THE EARLY 1930S, RAPID PROGRESS WAS MADE IN REDUCING THE CAPACITOR SIZE. IN 1936, THE SPACE REQUIRED BY CAPACITORS ON FRACTIONAL-HORSEPOWER MOTORS HAD BEEN FURTHER REDUCED AND THE IMPROVED MOTOR CONTINUED TO GAIN IN FAVOR AND NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS." (REF. 1) - Area Notes

AH16260/ CSA APP. NO. 664/ BR6922F". Green dymo tape label on motor casing reads "MF4-35". "#115B819/ H26-A" cast in raised print on both endpieces. "3. MFD. 330 V.A.C./ AEL6X HYVOL F" stamped in green on capacitor endpiece.
