- "ELECTRO-DYNAMIC CO./ OF/ PHILADELPHIA" cast in raised print on oval plate fixed to upper left. "CLASS 1/16FAN NO. 2471/ AMPS. [blank]/ VOLTS 2 SPEED 980" marked on oval plate fixed to upper right of motor front. Part no. (?) "81" incised on upright support fitted to centre back of motor. Red dymo tape label marked "MF.1.3." applied to wood base.

- 1 CARBON BRUSH MISSING. MAY BE MISSING OTHER PARTS. MOTOR HAS SUFFERED SONE MINOR DAMAGE: SOME FITTINGS ARE BENT AND/OR CHIPPED.

- BLACK ENAMEL FINISH ON MAIN SUPPORT STRUCTURE. MOSTMETAL COMPONENTS HAVE NATURAL FINISH. WOODEN BASE HAS BEEN STAINED & VARNISHED.
