THE CONCENTRIC POSITION OF THE FIELD COIL PERMITS THE WITHDRAWL OF THE ARMATURE WITHOUT DISTURBING EITHER THE FIELD COIL OR THE POLE PLACES. THE COMMUTATOR IS PLACED OUTSIDE OF THE FIELDMAGNET SHELL. THIS CHANGE ALLOWS GOOD ACCESS TO THE BRUSHES. (REF. 1)
