IT REPRESENTS SIGNIFICANT CHANGE FROM & IMPROVEMENT OVER EARLIER PLOTTERS, & IS FROM PERIOD WHEN APPLICATION OF MINI COMPUTERS WAS BEING WIDELY EXTENDED TO CONTROL OF PROCESSES & OPERATIONS SUCH AS TECHNICAL DRAWING. IT CONTAINED STATE-OF-THE-ART MINI COMPUTER & DRUM-CONTROLLING SOFTWARE & MOTORS.
