Technical: IN THE 1960'S UV LAMPS LIKE THIS ONE BECAME POPULAR FOR PRODUCING SPECIAL EFFECTS. THEY ARE ALSO USEFULL FOR PHYSICS DEMONSTRATORS TO ILLUSTRATE THE TRANSFER OF ENERGY WITHIN ATOMS.
