THIS TELESCOPE, THOUGH BASED ON AN EARLIER DESIGN (LOCKHEED SOLAR OBSERVATORY'S TELESCOPE ), WAS SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVED & DEVELOPED BY NRC STAFF, AND MANY OF THE SUB-COMPONENTS WERE CANADIAN DESIGNED & MADE.
