THIS PANEL WAS PART OF THE 'AUTOMATIC' SYSTEM. WHEN THE FUSIBLE METAL LINK ON THE MOUNTING MELTED RELEASING THE HAMMER TO BREAK THE GRENADE IT ALSO COMPLETED THE CIRCUIT WHICH PASSED THROUGH THE PANEL CAUSING AN ELECTRIC BELL TO COMMENCE RINGING. - Area Notes
