Function: USED TO SECURELY SEIZE AND/OR REMOVE FRAGMENTS OF BONE.

Markings: "DOWN ENGLAND" & "STAINLESS" incised on one side of instrument. "8" stamped on inside of one handle. "Salle 8", "D2", "neuro" & "H.C.L.M." crudely incised by hand on instrument. Other incised markings are illegible.
Missing: TENSION SPRING SPANNING INSIDE OF HANDLES IS BROKEN AND MISSING.
Finish: BRIGHT SILVER METAL FINISH. LOWER HALF OF OUTSIDE SURFACE OF HANDLES HASINCISED CROSS-HATCHED PATTERN.
