- Scale -35 to 42, divided by single increments and labelled at intervals of 10: all markings in black except for "37" which is in red, with a red star. On reverse: " b. 13/ Maxima 1/10 C. 1 Minute/ Normalglas/ Wehrmacht" printed in black. " 15/ [logo incorporating DR]/ 2/ 43" etched into glass, on reverse side of thermometer casing. UHN catalogue no. "979.20.3" printed by hand in black ink on one end.
