- "K" stamped into front edge of case cover; "L" stamped into leather portion of buckle mounting. Paper label fixed inside case lid reads "1 Zwirntuchiasche, darin 1 gerade Scheere, 1 anatomische Pinzette/ 1 Pressstück zu/ 10 keimfreien/ Mullstreifen/ zu 200 X 20 cm/ 3 keimfreie/ Verbandpäckchen/ Nadeln, Zwirn/ in 1 Lederiasche/ 1Rolle/ Zinkkautschukpflaster/ 5 m x 2,5 cm/ in 1 Pappschachtel/ Auf dem Boden unter den Gurtschlauten : 1 grosses dreieckiges Tuch/ Krankenträger, Linke Tasche". UHN catalogue no. "X969.173 G" printed by hand in white ink on underside of case. " J Frankfurt 8/ M." stamped into back of case, below leather band fixing lid to case.
