- Etched in stone on bottom of base reads: "CALPA" and "Capt. McAskill". Paper label affixed with tape reads: "Tighten Until Snug Only/ Please DO NOT Over-tighten". CALPA possibly - Canadian Air Line Pilots Association.

- Glass part that inserts in base is broken off and missing. Also missing is the nut that holds the sculpture in place on the base
