- Markings
- "J.C.W." incised on front cover. "[logo-M.L.A.C.]/ Presented to/ John C. Webster/ by his Friends of the/ Montreal Light Aeroplane Club/ on the occasion of his/ departure to represent Canada/ in the/ King's Cup Race/ 1931" engraved in script on inside front cover of cigarette case. Approx. 18 sets of initials are engraved below. "BIRKS" and "STERLING" stamped on hinged band fitted inside case.

- Decoration
- Off-set, alternating bands of horizontal and vertical lines stamped on front and back covers; hinged band of elongated circular forms create hinged guard for cigarettes within case. Montreal Light Aeroplane Club logo incorporating winged shield surmounted by beaver is stamped on inside of front cover.
