"J.C.W." incised on front cover. "[logo-M.L.A.C.]/ Presented to/ John C. Webster/ by his Friends of the/ Montreal Light Aeroplane Club/ on the occasion of his/ departure to represent Canada/ in the/ King's Cup Race/ 1931" engraved in script on inside front cover of cigarette case. Approx. 18 sets of initials are engraved below. "BIRKS" and "STERLING" stamped on hinged band fitted inside case.
