Taken from acquisition proposal: "Designed by Peter Kielland in Ottawa, Ontario. The commercial Scruzol represents the completion of the design. However, an interview with Mr. Kielland indicates that he is continuing to modify the design to make the Sruzol as versatile as possible.". The Scruzol was patented in Canada by Peter Kielland on May 20, 2010, and is still patent pending (February 2, 2017). - Function

- Printing on packaging is in English and French. Print on bottom of front side reads: "Visit our website for video tips and tricks/ WWW.SCRUZOL.COM/ Vistez notre site web pour trucs et videos". Print on the back side of package reads: "SCRUZOL/ Easy to Use. Hard to Lose!/ Facile a utiliser. Difficile a perdre!/ 3) Stick It conveniently to metal surfaces./ Adhere-le commodement aux surfaces metalliques./ 4) Flick it the bits store magnetically./ Effeurez-le ses trepans sont magnetiques". Text in the bottom left on the back side of package reads: "12 highest/ quality S2/ steel bits./ 12 trepans/ d'acier S2/ d'haute/ qualite."
