This bag was used to carry mail from Great Britain to Canada. The donor received the bag with its contents from a Canada Post carrier. Air Canada has a long time contract – from before the 1960s - with Royal Mail to deliver mail from London to Canadian destinations. In 2010, Air Canada carried 2.7 million kilos of Royal Mail mail.
