This toy helicopter is a direct representation of the aircraft currently on display at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum. This Labrador was manufactured for the RCAF in 1963 by the Boeing Company's Vertol division in Morton, Pennsylvannia. It was the first Labrador used by the Canadian military. Its entire career was spent as a search-and-rescue (SAR) helicopter. The Boeing Vertol CH-113 Labrador served with the Canadian Army, RCAF and Canadian Forces from 1963 to 2004. The Labrador's very first flight dates back to 1958. In July 1996, this helicopter assisted in Operation Saguenay in which 14 000 people were evacuated from flood-ravaged homes. Ce jouet d'hélicoptère est une représentation directe de l'aéronef présentement en exposition au Musée de l'aviation et de l'espace du Canada. Ce Labrador a été produit pour l'ARC en 1963 par la division Vertol de la compagnie Boeing à Morton en Pennsylvanie. Il a été le premier Labrador utilisé par le militaire canadien. La carrière du Labrador a été dépensé en tant qu'hélicoptère de recherche et sauvetage. This is a remote controlled helicopter toy used for accurate directional flight which includes various functions such as ascending, descending, forward and backward flights as well as 360 degree turning ability. Technical

The Labrador helicopter aircraft is a twin-engine, tandem-rotor search and rescue helicopter. This helicopter is capable of landing on water due to its watertight hull. Furthermore, the Labrador has the capacity to carry up to eighteen people and featured a side-mounted rescue hoist and cargo hook. As for the helicopter toy, the helicopter is very detailed and does resemble the real-life aircraft housed at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum. The toy helicopter is controled by a remote control. L'hélicoptère Labrador est un aéronef biturbine à rotors en tandem utilisé pour des missions de recherches et sauvetages. De plus, le Labrador a la capacité de transporter jusqu'à dix-huit personnes et a un treuil de sauvetage monté sur le côté et un crochet de charge. En ce qui concerne l'hélicoptère jouet, l'hélicoptère est très détaillé et ressemble à l'aéronef qui est situé au Musée de l'aviation et de l'espace du Canada. White rectangular cardboard box. The front of the box has a rectangular transparent synthetic plastic window to showcase the contents inside the box. The outside of the box has black, grey, red and white text. The box has circular pieces of clear adhesive tape. Inside the box, there is a yellow synthetic helicopter toy with a black controler. Une boîte blanche rectangulaire. Le devant de la boîte a une fenêtre rectangulaire synthétique en plastique transparente pour démontrer les contenus à l'intérieur de la boîte.
