The Junior Jet Club was originally started by the BOAC (British Overseas Airways Corporation) on March 26th 1957 and continued into the British Airways era when BOAC and BEA (British European Airways) merged in 1974 to form British Airways, who continued the JJC. Between 1957 and 1973, BOAC handed out over 500 000 Junior Jet Club Kits, which includes a navigational log book, and envelope for the log book and a badge pin. Le " Junior Jet Club " a été formée originalement par BOAC (British Overseas Airways Corporation) le 26 mars 1957 et a continué d'exister lors de la période de " British Airways " lorsque BOAC et BEA (British European Airways) se sont fusionnés pour former British Airways. - Small metal pin. The badge at the center has a darkblue background with bronze embossed text. Some of the letters have some blue discoloration. The wings are each side of the pin are also bronze coloured. The pin is attached to its original white card. The outside of the wings and the top of the pin have browning discolouration due to regular wear and tear throughout the years. Petite broche en métal. Le centre de la broche a un arrière plan bleu foncé avec de l'écriture bronze texturé. Certaines des lettres ont de la décoloration bleue. Les ailes sur chaque côté de la broche sont en couleur bronze. La broche est encore attachée à sa carte blanche originale. L'extérieur des ailes ainsi que le dessus de la broche a de la décoloration brune en raison de l'usure normale au cours des années.
