Canada: This milk pitcher was made by Hamelin which is a Canadian company that was founded in 1969. This company was responsible for manufacturing a wide variety of plastic articles under the model name Mistral. The use of milk bags came into effect in Canada within the 1970s. Pitchers such as these were sold in larger chain stores as well as grocery stores throughout Canada. Le pot à lait a été fabriqué par une compagnie canadienne, Hamelin, fondée en 1969. La firme fabrique divers objets ménagers en plastique sous la marque Mistral. L'usage du sac de plastique comme contenant pour le lait a commencé au Canada au cours des années 1970. De tels pichets sont vendus au Canada dans les magasins à grande chaine et les épiceries.
Function: Used for pouring milk and other liquids into other containers with the use of a funneled lip or spout. Utiliser pour verser du lait ou autre liquides en utilisant une lèvre ou un entonnoir ou un bec verseur.
Technical: A mould tool is used for a process known as injection moulding. Plastic is heated into a molten state and then injected into a mould tool in order to form it to the desired shape. When the plastic cools and takes that subsequent shape the mould tool is then opened and the plastic is ejected and inspected before it goes on for secondary operations related to its desired shape. Un outil a moule est utilisé pour le processus de moulage par injection. Un plastique est chauffé au point de devenir un plastique fluide et injecter dans une moule pour atteindre une forme désirée.
