Johnstone Montgomery, centre, who went overseas with the 48th Highlanders, Toronto, in 1939, has been invalided home after seeing action in North Africa and Sicily. Left to right, he is shown being greeted by his father, Cpl. Wm. Montgomery, Canadian Small Arms School, Long Branch, Ontario, who also served in the last was; daughter Betty; Mrs. Montgomery; son Bill, a member of the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets; and daughter Shirley, following arrival of special Canadian national Railways hospital train at M.D. #2 Reception Centre, Toronto, Sunday morning (Feb. 27) from an Eastern Canadian port.
