FIRST COMMERCIALLY SUCCESSFUL ELECTRIC ORGANS WERE MADE BY HAMMOND & SOLD IN USA FROM 1935. NEWSPAPER ACCOUNTS STATE LATTER WERE OF INFERIOR SOUND QUALITY TO ROBB'S INVENTION. - Area Notes
