- Round red plate on casing front reads "MINICAM/ JAPAN"./ Paper card inside casing illustrates correct battery placement, and reads "INSERT FOUR BATTERIES AS ILLUSTRATED/ FOR BEST RESULTS USE FRESH BATTERIES/ Use only 1.5-volt, D-size batteries, such as EVEREADY Type 850/ or Bright Star Type 10P. For extra long life, EVEREADY Type E95D/ is recommended./ [ star motif ] To conserve battery when not in use, place switch on AC/ Position which is also the cut off position for batteries. When not in use for some time, remove power plug from flash/ head as an added precaution. "
