Technical: INEXPENSIVE, RELIABLE AND EASILY MAINTAINED ROWER PUMP, DESIGNED FOR IRRIGATION. A CREW OF 3 OR4 MEN CAN TYPICALLY INSTALL ONE WELL AND PUMP PER DAY, AT A COST OF 10 CENTS PER FOOT. ONCE INSTALLED, THE PUMPS ARE SIMPLE TO OPERATE & MAINTAIN, REQUIRING FEW TOOLS AND MINIMAL KNOWLEDGE OF PUMP MAINTAINANCE (REF. 1) OVER 30,000 ARE CURRENTLY IN USE: THE POTENTIAL MARKET IN BANGLADESH IS EST'D AT 2 MILLION.
