- "CARL ZEISS/ JENA" [logo] stamped into arm and binocular tube. "Nr.244250" stamped into heel of stand. "Intervall=0.002mm" stamped into base of fine adjustment knob on proper left of arm; scale over adjustment knob stamped 0 to 49, divided in single increments and labelled at intervals of 5. Adjustment scale [for adjusting arc of eyepiece tubes] labelled -60 to +70, and divided at intervals of 2, stamped into proper right base of ocular eyepiece tube. UHN catalogue no. "980.23.12 a" printed by hand in white ink, on back of stand.
