Technical: This artifact is used to measure the concentration of industrial fluids. The sample is placed on a prism which, with the help of multiple angled lenses, projects a line on a scale inside the instrument, which can be seen through an eyepiece. This device has two scales: 28 range in 2 degrees, and 27 range in 3 degrees, and has been designed to measure the concentration of sodium chloride. The refractometer comes with a case.
