The Dofasco Male Chorus, founded in 1945, comprised entirely of employees of the "Dominion Foundries and Steel Company Limited", (Dofasco) Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The chorus has been going for more than 60 years. Technical

The phonograph disc record was the primary medium used for music reproduction until late in the 20th century. It had co-existed with the phonograph cylinder from the late 1880s and replaced it by the late 1920s. By the 1980s, digital media in the form of CDs and DVDs had gained a larger market share, and the vinyl record left the mainstream in the early 1990s.
