As Squibb cans have sometimes been refilled with/ inferior ether, see that the sealing cap is intact. To use, cut out the soft/ metal cap, then stopper with a cork. The Squibb Ether is of one quality/ only- the best that can be made for anesthesia. This can is coated/ internally with copper to preserve the contents against deterioration./ NOTE.- The contents of this can should not be used for anesthesia if/ it has been opened and the ether exposed to the air for some time. CAUTION: Ether is highly inflammable. It should be kept in a cool/ place and remote from lights or fire, and be administered only by day- light or by electric light.
