The Junior Jet Club was originally started by the BOAC (British Overseas Airways Corporation) on March 26th 1957 and continued into the British Airways era when BOAC and BEA (British European Airways) merged in 1974 to form British Airways, who continued the JJC. Between 1957 and 1973, BOAC handed out over 500 000 Junior Jet Club Kits, which includes a navigational log book, and envelope for the log book and a badge pin. - Function
